We are motivated to make our guests feel as though they are in the right place as they approach our stunning and elegant Dimora. We wish for them to be instantly sure in their decision in choosing us for their stay by not being surrounded by objects but rather many pieces of a realistic dream.
The six rooms have been faithfully renovated to mimic original features of the late 19th century country homes. They are named after the trees and plants that enrich our gardens. The Salento uniqueness is present in these rooms by honoring the traditional vaulted ceilings and by the cocciopesto – an ancient roman flooring technique dating back hundreds of years.
The rooms are either located on the ground level or first floor accompanied by a view over the courtyards or surrounding greenery. Three rooms located on the first-floor feature spacious terraces to admire the countryside and its everlasting colors throughout the day, sunset and sunrise.
The Melograno room (The Pomegranate room) located on the ground floor has a direct entry from the main courtyard. It is the room that is privileged to the accessory of the gardens as it is located in front of the main colonnade.
The bathroom was designed to mimic the color of a pomegranate which can be picked in the autumn months directly from the tree across from the room entrance interconnecting the interior design with the garden.
The Fico room (Fig Room) inspired to be the most precious of our rooms due to the large ivory-colored bathroom that is embellished by a modern Antonio Lupi bathtub. It is located in front of a large window overlooking a beautiful fig tree. While enjoying a stunning scenery in a large bathtub the bathroom is also admirable because of its authentic vaulted ceiling.
The Carrubo room (Carob room) is found by embarking through an ancient stone wall staircase leading to the first floor. The Carrubo overlooks the main courtyard adorned by two Carob trees. The room is equipped with a shower overlooking the surrounding countryside.
The large 16sqm terrace overlooks the greenery and swimming pool. Facing the east, this room can enjoy a majestic view of the daily sunrise.
The Ciliegio room (Cherry room) features a unique in-room shower in which guests can enjoy the blue sky of a hot summer day and powerful colors of a stunning sunset.
The characteristics of the ceiling vaults increase the astonishment while staying in this room.
The 33sqm terrace is decorated with classic Salento “cementine,” that offers guests the chance to relax in privacy.
The Loto room (Lotus room) is the most intimate room thanks to its layout. Guests can lie down among the soft percale sheets, and yet enjoy the view over the abloom ornamental gardens and the town of Parabita in the background.
The room is interconnected to the Ulivo and is ideal for families.
The Ulivo room (Olive room) is the most authentic room because of the vaulted ceilings that explode within the room itself. The decorated iron bed creates an ancient and incomparable feeling. The terrace is embellished by the precious Salento “cementine” and a unique decoration of terracotta jars that majestically establishes an elegant yet traditional ambiance. The unique touch of design is inspired by the Carminati-Ponti vintage wicker armchairs enriching the outdoor environment and inviting guests to admire a romantic sunset with a loved one.
The fascination of the past vibrates within this room’s walls and can interconnect with the Loto room making it an ideal option for families as well.
